Messy Dogs

This is a must-have mug for every dog-lover. Adorable and slightly scruffy illustrations of dogs including Scotties, Spaniels and friendly mongrels adorn this mug, drawn in pen and ink with a watercolour wash. The names of the breeds are noted in freehand style beside each dog, and a trail of pawprints meanders along the handle. Two different but equally cute puppies feature inside the rim of the cup.

The generous Nevis shape of the mug, combined with the endearing doggy imagery, make this a cup to cherish.

If you’re not a dog-lover, or if you love cats too, you may also want the companion Messy Cats mug from Dunoon. Both designs are by Kate Mawdesley.

Kate Mawdsley
Kate Mawdsley was born in Lancashire and now lives in a converted barn in East Anglia. Even in the nursery, Kate Mawdsley preferred to play with paper, pencils and paint rather than toys and she maintained her interest in art throughout her education. After completing her degree in fashion and textiles, Kate spent the first ten years of her career in the fashion industry. In the early 1990s, she began gradually to move into more illustrative work. Since then, her repertoire and collection have expanded each year and her work can now be seen on products ranging from Dunoon mugs to cross-stitch fabrics.

Big chunky and very comfortable to drink from, Nevis shape fine bone china mugs have a generous capacity of 480ml. All designs are both dishwasher and microwave safe, with the exception of those featuring gold embellishment.
